Easy. Lots of companies and networks do it. It's known by the technical
name of "grab it from the customer and nine times out of ten they don't
notice and if they do they don't always bother to mention it but if they
do complain then we can always apologise and blame it on a computer error"
and it boosts their profits greatly.
