You need to "dial" from the browser, which is supposed to start
up a Skype call to the Skype name they've picked for the call,
so it may depend on the browser-Skype app interaction working.
Rebtel's call rates are also generally better than Skype Out.

But to use Rebtel you have to set up a local no. which on Three's
tariff (with an S2 etc.) is 20p a minute for the connection to start
off with. Then you are charged for whatever Rebtel charges for a
landline or mobile connection.

It would be easier if you'd taken note of what I wrote, though
maybe you can look he

You don't have to call through a local number to use Rebtel,
you can also call from your Skype client with Rebtel doing
the gatewaying to their service. As the Skype client in
the latter case thinks it is doing a Skype-to-Skype call the
call doesn't cost anything and should connect you no matter
where you are ultimately trying to call. Rebtel's rates are
also somewhat more reasonable than Skype Out.

For a local call you can't use Skype on the S2. Three charges 20p a
min. flat rate to a local call. So why use Rebtel when you have to pay
20p a min. to call the Rebtel local no., and then pay for whatever
Rebtel charges to connect to the required local no.

You don't have to call a Rebtel dial-through number. The way it
works, however, you do need to initiate the call from a browser
logged into Rebtel's web site so you'll need to be paying for
data service for the S2.
