The Apple ipad is coming out in the uk by June, it seems, it has
been announced that the version which has 3g data capability will be
unlocked (though Apple have an agreement with ATT to provide what
appears by american standards a monthly no minimum term contract
which allows 250mb for $14.99 a month, pretty crappy by uk standards
but good for the US), the iPad will work on any standard 3g network,
but said it needs a 'micro sim'. I havent come across a micro sim
before, are they common place here
in the UK? Are they available on request? I have a great little
contract with 3g, but inside their usb dongle is just a standard
sim. Anyone experieince with mini sims?

it appears the contacts are the same, just a smaller plastic carrier.

It not *that* long ago that SIMs were credit card sized!
Its the same with curly wurlys, they used to be the size of a small
