I have a Nokia 8910i phone which is still quite rare in the UK (it is
not even listed on Nokia's UK site). This is the colour version of the 8910 and includes Java. It is an absolutely beautiful phone in dark sleek titanium and has the same hydraulic opening mechanism as the 8910. I also have the accompanying Nokia HDW-2 Bluetooth headset. The only reason I am getting rid of this lovely phone is that it does not support SyncML and can't synchronise with my Apple Macintosh using Apple's iSync. PC Owners will have no problem using the enclosed software that synchronises with Micro$oft Outlook :-( 8910i Specifications: http://makeashorterlink.com/?C16112F45 HDW-2 Specifications: http://makeashorterlink.com/?O27112F45 Considering the 8910i still costs well over £500, I am looking for sensible offers. I am willing to consider a part exchange for a Sony Ericsson P800 or T610, but not any T68i please. I did actually, both when I was first looking at the phone a couple of months ago and just before I posted this article. You can find details of the phone by selecting the non-country specific Website www.nokia.com and then not selecting a country, which gives you access to all Nokia products - but I can also get details on CDMA phones that are also not available in this country that way too. Go to the UK specific Website www.nokia.co.uk and the 8910i is not listed. You might be able to drill down into the 8910i somehow, but it is not listed in the products drop down box on the opening screen and not listed on the current products page. Where did you see it then on the Nokia.co.uk Website and I will stand corrected and adjust my posting? Can you give me an URL rather than just a sarcastic comment? Carphone Warehouse do have it on their Website, and for £499.99, so it has come down in price a little over the past two months. But I think you will find that my statement that it costs "in excess of £500" is the only inaccurate one - by 1p. Regards James |

I also noted that on your previous posting where you were auctioning an 8910i you couldn't even enter an URL properly (try the link): From: "Paulo De Souza" Newsgroups: uk.adverts.telecom.mobile Subject: Fa: 8910i 8910i on ebay. http://tinyurl.co.uk/shdv Thanks Paulo And when I did finally find the auction item you didn't even list a link to any Nokia site with information about the phone - not very impressive for such an expert on the Nokia Website..... Now why would I take advice (or sarcasm) from someone like that?? |

So someone dint have any complaints or problems with the buy now price. Paulo |

I stand corrected, Nokia has added a link to the 8910i now to the nokia.co.uk (but strangely the still available 8910 has disappeared from their drop down list) wedged between the 8310 and 6210. The funny thing is that this didn't appear when I viewed the page through Apple's Safari browser, only when I use Internet Exploiter on a PC. Maybe it is a conspiracy by Microsoft?? :-) I've posted a bug on Apple's Website regarding display of drop-down boxes. Please accept my apologies, but it is a shame that your initial comments couldn't have been more constructive and pointed out the above rather than a one line rebuke. As you can see from Paulo's posting, his 8910i sold quickly for around £340 (without Bluetooth headset) to give you some indication of where offers should come in.
