Default S55 and Nokia Bluetooth

I bought a Nokia bluetooth kit for my S55 from CPW.

Its not working as well as I expected, are there any known problems
with this? The headset seems to lose touch with the phone and only by
resetting it, and disable/re-enable bluetooth on the headset seems to
get them to talk. This will only last for a number of calls before
they lose each other again.

Is this a mad match, dodgy headset or something else?

TIA

How long have you had the S55? It may need a firmware upgrade which CPW or
any other SC can sort out for you if it comes to this.

If you've got a data cable then you can download and flash the firmware
update yourself (officially) from http://www.my-siemens.com/s55

FW12 (the one on the site) has got an annoying alarm clock/ringtone bug
where it sometimes never stops until you play a sound yourself from the
file system though.

Discontinued? Not to my knowledge.

Thanks for the replies, I will play with it for another day or two to
see how things pan out.

I'm afraid it has been - It's on 'while stocks last' status.

As the other post said, you can upgrade the handset's firmware yourself *if
you are confident with it*. Otherwise take it to an SC, so that you can hold
them responsible if it goes wrong

That's the best way IMO
