Hopefully someone can help me with this problem

Got a t68i with R1a software

The phone has worked fine for some months but recently it seems to be slow to
the point it gets blocked up. SMS cannot be received, phone calls cannot be
received and even more annoying when i goto write new sms it goes straight to
saved in unsent without me pressing any thing. When I turn the phone off and
back on again it gets rid of the problem, but soon returns about 5 minutes
later.
The response to my button pushes take upto 30 seconds to be carried out.
Sometimes totally locks up and I have to remove the battery.

Does anyone have any clue as to whats up with the piece of trash?

Not sure what release of software mine's running, but it does get dog
slow when the SIM card is full of texts, not sure if filling the on
SIM address book has the same effect, as I never used it.
