Hello, thanks for reading this.
I don't know if there is an appropriate help/group for advice in regard to: My mobile phone: Nokia 7210 has gone over to 'silent' on receiving incoming calls. I don't hear a thing, I've tried to change settings, been to a factory re-set but to no avail....? I really would like to sort this out so any answers of help/advice will be gratefully accepted, or, any re-direction to other groups? regards, Allen |

Meanwhile, at the uk.telecom.mobile Job Justification Hearings,
lid chose the tried and tested strategy of: I don't hear a thing, I've tried to change settings, been to a factory re- set but to no avail....? If factorying it doesn't sort it, it's probably a hardware problem. -- http://ale.cx/ (AIM:troffasky) ) 21:52:17 up 2 days, 2:32, 5 users, load average: 0.04, 0.03, 0.00 DIMENSION-CONTROLLING FORT DOH HAS NOW BEEN DEMOLISHED, AND TIME STARTED FLOWING REVERSELY |

How old is it? It may still be under warranty. If it was mine, I'd open it up and have a poke about with a soldering iron. You could try your local independent phone shop, but tbh the labour costs of faffing about inside a phone could be more than the handset is worth. I'd leave the soldering iron alone and first try changing the sounder. http://www.uselessinfo.pwp.blueyonde...mantle7210.htm Can't tell from that if it's a plug in? Don't know about the 7210, but i've changed them in 3310 as they simply plug in http://www.uselessinfo.pwp.blueyonde...mantle3310.htm part number 2 Steve Terry -- Get a free Three 3pay Sim with £2 bonus after £10 top up http://freeagent.three.co.uk/stand/view/id/5276 |
