Default Skypephone S2: No active chats (Skype)

I had a Skype chat less than 1 hour ago using PC. When I switched my S2 on
it reported No active (skype)chats. I wonder when the status No active chats
is reported. Does it mean there must be some activity after I switch on
mobile for it to detect an existence of a chat?
Just being curious

Dunno - but it sounds as if it could be telling the truth if you had
finished your PC-based chat before turning the S2 on.

I think the answer lies with the fact the S3 does not have a "nailed, up always on" connection
like your home broadband, and therefore it can only synchronise when the opportunity allows.

Later versions of the Skype application for the phone don't even have a "refresh" option in the
menu, the one my lad has still does, but I understand 3 have the ability to send an update and
you are not given the option to decline it.

I think on Skype 3.80.0.2 on the S2, if you go to Options / Settings / OK
The update will refresh the connection
