Hi,
Anyone know if it's possible for Vodafone to transfer a mobile number from one account to another? I purchased an N900 and signed up a new account with Nokia retail under the false impression that I was upgrading my existing contract. I now have two contracts under the same account ![]() Spoke to Voda to cancel my existing contract and move the number to the new account but they say they can't do it! Is this really the case? Instead they're upgrading my current contract under the same terms as the Nokia deal (including sending *another* phone out), and suggesting I cancel the contract with Nokia under the 14 day cooling off period and send the phone that's already been deliverd back to them. This seems to be extremely convoluted given the situation! I'd rather keep the phone I've been delivered and the new contract I've signed up for whilst retaining the number from the SIM only account I have. Why are these things never simple? ![]() -- Bob Pullen |
