A guy I used to work with, and who is used to Microsoft Exchange Active Sync
on his mobile is now working on his own and using GMail. What options are there, if any for the non e-mail access he got on Active Sync such as Calendar and Contacts sync? |

You just tell your phone to use m.google.com as your Exchange Server then you can sync most things with Google. Search for "Google Sync" in Google. -- Brian Gregory. My Nokia N95 8GB will sync my contacts and calendar to Google, using 'Mail for Exchange', which can be downloaded from Ovi. -- |

Is there anyway to use this 'fake' exchange on a PC? I've tried using
m.google.com as an Exchange server in Outlook but it doesn't work. Does on the phone though - very handy and didn't know I could do this! Are there any other mail programs other than Outlook that I could get it to work with? -- JL "Brian Gregory [UK]" wrote in message ... "Dave Wade" wrote in message ... I haven't tried it with m.google.com, but you could try configuring Outlook for RPC over HTTP mode (called Outlook Anywhere in latest version). |

What settings would I input for that? I've just tried m.google.com in the web address but no joy. Thanks for any advice. |
