All in all pretty fabulous for the stingy texter, I was spending about a tenner a month on text messaging, which will now be virtually free. Hi, Why don't all the Network providers share the same 3g masts for their respective networks, or do they? I was told today by someone (an MP) that they all use different frequencies and hence need their own masts. I would have thought that was rubbish. Thanks.

My other half has a PAYG sim with O2. We recently changed the phone she uses and the new one insists on playing the full volume message tone each time she receives her balance from the network (i.e. after every call and every text message). She receives quite a lot of messages and now that it beeps when she sends them as well it is driving us mad! Does anyone know how to turn off that...
