I have a C35, previously on 02 Pay Upfront. I now have a Vaodafone PAYG sim but get an error message "Phone Disabled NETWORK CODE". Thought I could use either network? Is the phone likely to be locked to 02 only. - Sim works fine in Samsung SGH 2400 which was also previously 02.

I'm off to visit my parents for Xmas on 19 December and thought I'd check the mobile phone coverage in the area. Oddly much of Trowbridge, which is the county town of Wiltshire, appears to have no Orange coverage at all. I wonder if this is simply a glitch with the mapping or if it's an example of Orange switching off its transmitters after its merger with T-Mobile.
