t68i and non official desktop charger by
MJG
Advice needed please.
When my t68i is switched off and sat in my newly bought 'non official'
desktop charger it cycles through the screen 'Charging only' through
to switching the screen off through to 'Charging only' and so on.
It's as if the charger is switching on and off repeatedly.
It does not do this when the mains charger is plugged directly into
the phone without the desktop charger.

Looking for obscure Panasonic mobile phone by

Was there a keypad on the phone? how was the number entered?
As far as I know it did have a keypad like on a typical mobile phone,
though the buttons sure must be small. So that's how it sounds like
numbers were entered.
Also, how did the mic work as it would be quite far from the mouth,...

Virgin and GPRS? by

Is GPRS available on Virgin? I notice that the 8310 Virgin box suggests that
it isn't.

Cheapest SPV by
Richie
I'm thinking of getting an Orange SPV, as I'm finding the T68i
extremely unreliable...
From what I've heard, most people seem to quite like it. Are there
any particular issues that I should be aware of? The most important
features for me a
-Large phonebook, with lots of fields per contact
-Sync with Outlook - I presume this should work at least as well as
any other phone, given that it's...

NEC e808 questions by
Tim Tyler
About the NEC e808 - does anyone know:
* What processor it uses;
* What OS the machine runs;
http://www.nec.co.uk/mobile_e808spec.asp seems to be lacking this info -
for some reason.

Adding MMS to pre-MMS O2 Online tariffs by
Ed Skinner
Hello,
I have had a O2 Online sim only tariff for over 1 year. I recently
called and changed my tariff to one which includes a phone, upgraded
to a SE T610, and am currently awaiting its arrival while I continue
to use my old, gradually dying Ericsson T65. Will MMS have been added
to my account seeing as I've ordered a MMS compatable phone? Or will I
have to get in touch with O2 to add it when...

The only OVP's were T Mobile...

Which phone? by

Joanne Bullock dropped the following pearls of wisdom:
Hi,
I currently have an 8310 which I am replacing next month. I would
like to know which phone you guys would recommend out of 6100, 6610,
7210 and T610.
The T610 is technically vastly superior to the other phones you mentioned -
the 7250(i) is it's closest Nokia equivalent. If you are a die-hard Nokia
fan then there isn't much...

01 or 02 call-through number for T-Mobile by
Chris Michael
I need an 01 or 02 number that I can use as a call-through/call-routing
service for T-Mobile that will be eligable for my inclusive minutes (Anytime
Max). I want to then be able to call up another 0207 number (data number).
Just trying to save a bit of money as T-Mobile charge 5p + vat per minute
for 01/02 data calls. I'm sure a call through service would be a bit cheaper
if dialling a landline...

Which phone? by
Anoushka-C
Hi Joanne,
I've recently upgraded from the 8310 to a samsung s300 and I would
definately recommend it. I had to pay £80 to upgrade on orange though. The
8310 was the first ever phone i've had on nokia.. and the last. I had
constant problems with it.
I have never had a eriksson but my brother has and he's been recently having
problems with the handset.

O2 Upgrade? by
pivotalgubbins
Dear group,
I was wondering if anyone had any experience of upgrading their phone
on O2 Online from a SIM only contract to one with a phone?
If so, can anyone tell me how the change of billing is administered,
when the new tariff takes effect, how much of the current month is
payable, etc?
Also, does anyone know whether the SE T610 or Nokia 6100 are available

P800 + Broadband by
Scott
Is it possible for a SE P800 to use a PC (with Bluetooth) as an internet
gateway, thus enabling me to sit on the couch browsing the web quickly (and
for free)?
I've heard it's possible with some PDAs, so I wondered if I could do it with
a P800.
If not, why not?
