OVP '3' by Steve Terry
"David Thornton" wrote in message ... I have two OVP Virgin SIMs (got both via PAYG upgrades / out of contract handset trick, so never actually bought an Orange handset in my life). One has Chat 60 on Line 2 and the second has ED50 on Line 2. Spoke to OCR, via CS because you cannot get through to OCR directly due to ...

Which phone? by Sid Fishes
"Joanne Bullock" wrote in message ... Hi, I currently have an 8310 which I am replacing next month. I would like to know which phone you guys would recommend out of 6100, 6610, 7210 and T610. I have previously had a T28W and it was the worst phone I have ever had. The reception was poor and the phone kept on ...

01 or 02 call-through number for T-Mobile by Chris Michael
I need an 01 or 02 number that I can use as a call-through/call-routing service for T-Mobile that will be eligable for my inclusive minutes (Anytime Max). I want to then be able to call up another 0207 number (data number). Just trying to save a bit of money as T-Mobile charge 5p + vat per minute for 01/02 data calls. I'm sure a call through service would be a bit cheaper if dialling a landline...

Which phone? by Anoushka-C
Hi Joanne, I've recently upgraded from the 8310 to a samsung s300 and I would definately recommend it. I had to pay £80 to upgrade on orange though. The 8310 was the first ever phone i've had on nokia.. and the last. I had constant problems with it. I have never had a eriksson but my brother has and he's been recently having problems with the handset.

O2 Upgrade? by pivotalgubbins
Dear group, I was wondering if anyone had any experience of upgrading their phone on O2 Online from a SIM only contract to one with a phone? If so, can anyone tell me how the change of billing is administered, when the new tariff takes effect, how much of the current month is payable, etc? Also, does anyone know whether the SE T610 or Nokia 6100 are available

P800 + Broadband by Scott
Is it possible for a SE P800 to use a PC (with Bluetooth) as an internet gateway, thus enabling me to sit on the couch browsing the web quickly (and for free)? I've heard it's possible with some PDAs, so I wondered if I could do it with a P800. If not, why not? :-)

couple of questions re 3 by Rich
Hi, Just ditched O2... cos I'm too must of a daytime chatterbox for their tariff. I threw together a quick page of mobile phone links to help me find the replacement ( http://www.richdavies.com/mobile.htm )but really can't decide. I "think" the 3 network is the best deal, but can't find much in the way of feedback from existing customers. My real questions are :-

Goodbye, o2 by NorwichLad
As a long time o2 customer, I had always been happy with the service from o2 and its many previous names - I've been with you since analogue days. It's a shame that over the last six months o2 has managed to irritate me so much, that I've no other choice but to terminate my account. I recently discovered a fault on my account, meaning that many people could not reply to my SMS messages. This is...

How many SMS's can a SE T610 store? by James Pole
On Thu, 24 Jul 2003 10:06:49 +0100, Simon C wrote: Emsee dropped the following pearls of wisdom: I'm looking at getting a T610 and am wondering how many SMS's it can hold. All my previous phones have been limited to 10 messages before the inbox gets full - is the 10 message limit still there on the T610 (or phones like it) or is it only limited by the phones memory?

I am currently on an O2 tariff with Singlepoint which is over 12 months old. I am wanting to get a new phone but as usual I'm not to happy with Singlepoint. The phone I want is the Nokia 6100 and I have found it for free in the local O2 shop. I want to transfer my number to the new contract, can I just check this is the correct way of going about it.

Orange WAP/Digital Rum ticket purchase insecure? by Steph Davies
I just bought tickets for Reading from Orange WAP - the only place that still has them to my knowledge. Unfortunately for me, just after I had submitted my credit card details, the process failed to progress to the confirmation page ("Invalid file format"). I was using a SonyEricsson T300 and I suspect the thing was probably tested only on Nokias (rather like bad websites that only run in...

Folks, Does anyone know if Nokia plan to have a phone available sometime soon that supports Bluetooth Audio?..... Ideally I woulda went for the 3650, but O dont do it. I've always had Nokia handsets, but I could be persuaded to go for the SE T610. Is it easy to get this handset unlocked?...Can it be done remotely?...

1st CFV: Change charter of uk.telecom.mobile by Nadeem
David Mahon wrote: snip PROPONENT'S SUMMARY OF DISCUSSION There were a few questions about the exact nature of an advert and which ISPs take note of off-topic abuse reports, but there were around a dozen 'I agree' posts and no outright objections. Hopefully, a straight forward, if drawn out, proposal. I'm sure I objected last time there was a discussion - I think it would stop

How do I browse? by wanblue
Having just got a nec e606, i was keen to have a look at real web-sites not just the content that 3 would like to to look at. Whenever I type in a URL it refuses to load the page - am I missing something here, or is it one step back from Wap, rather than a step forward? TIA

T68 by JL
A colleague of mine has just swapped companies from O2 to Orange. On his T68 (not T68i) under SMS menu, there is only an Inbox and no method of writing text messages. Anyone help? -- JL "Do you expect me to talk Goldfinger?" "No Mister Bond. I expect you to die."
