Has anyone ever received anything into their "Push Inbox"? by
Ed Skinner
I've always wondered if the day will come when I will get a message
popping up on my phone saying I've received a message in my "Push
Inbox". To the best of my knowledge, networks are able to leave
messages here for you to read as a result of you going on WAP... but
I'll happily stand corrected.
What is it there for? Whenever the network has tried to contact me,
they've just sent a bog standard...

Anyone know how to turn this annoying feature off ? I've searched the

As far as I can see, you either get the power on confirmation, or you use
a pin number. No other choices.

7250 by

How can I remove the "O2 - UK" logo from my 7250.
I have a wallpaper set and it is annoying that I can't remove that.
Under Settings - Display Settings you can turn off Operator Logo,
which I have done.

Phone Code for Siemens S55 by
Barry Chipchase
Just bought a second hand Siemens S55. I want to change the internet
settings, but the phone tells me I need to input a PIN first. I don't know
what it is and nor does the previous owner. Seems to be about 8 digits are
required. Anyone know how to get round this? I cannot format the filesystem
either because...I need the PIN!

Brand new Nokia 7250 by

| Cellphone is a made-up abbreviation used by americans, probably
| because they use "mobile" to mean what we call "cordless".

| Iain
But ppl will get confused if u use the term cordless - the 1st thing that
comes to mind is the cordless land line phone, not a handphone. (Asia's most
common term for a cellphone/mobilephone)

Orange OVP '3' - The hard and fast rules by
Craig Henry
Just been trying to OCR to OVP the 3 tariffs for me.
My big tip
IF YOU HAVE HAD A CONTRACT FOR LESS THAN 9 MONTHS DON'T BOTHER TRYING TO GET
ORANGE TO OVP IT. THE AMOUNT WHICH YOU HAVE SPENT ON YOUR BILLS IS
IRRELVANT.
Even though in 4.5 months i have spent over £1000 with them it is
irrelevant. The OVP 3 tariffs are a RETENTION TOOL ONLY for customers coming
