UK dual band phones in Australia by
Ed Skinner
Hey ya all,
Can someone please reassure me that a UK dual band phone will work
fine in Australia given it is on a suitable tariff? Just wondering, as
my brother was texting and calling us from Singapore but since going
to Australia we have heard nothing.
Also, if you get a text message report saying message delivered from
texting a phone abroad, does it mean the phone has received the
message?...

I have a new battery for my 2618 but the keyboard now refuses to work, so
its goodbye phone. This phone from new has had many problems. The question
is can I use my battery in any other (Orange) model, which I will look to
purchase second-hand
Thanks

non geographical price list for ED 50 by
Dan
Does anyone know where I could get hold of a price list, for all
non-geographical numbers on the Orange Everyday 50 tariff.
Which includes all 07, 08 & 09 numbers.
Their website has some but not all numbers & charges.
Danny.

Can anyone confirm the CSD phone number used to access Orange WAP on a
contract phone?
I've signed up to the 3 months free open access on EQ Virgin, and am
using the number +447973100500 and have been billed for WAP calls!?!

02 and online tariffs? by
Mark Kelly
question if I goto an o2 shop in town can I sign up to one of the 02
online tariff or are they only available if I get it online? Reason
is cause at the moment on 02 online contract you can get 500 sms per
month free and if you get a contract instore you get a handset for

Nuisance calls by
-=
My girlfriend is receiving nuisance calls and texts from an ex to her
landline, her Orange phone and to her Vodafone phone. BT can definitely do
something about the landline but that's only part of the problem.
I understand that, at least in the past, mobile companies wouldn't do
anything about nuisance calls apart from changing the customer's number.
Since the phones are used for my gfs work,...

Blackberry on Orange? by
toby
Orange seem to be the odd one out now with a series of clunky
complicated solutions for email. Does anyone know if Orange have any
intention of offering the RIM Blackberry (offered by the other 3
networks in the UK and also by Orange in their overseas markets) in
the UK?

6210 Losing Signal by
ChrisDoc
I recently got 3 6210's from work for free, 2 of them have now
developed the same problem - the signal just drops.
I have done a google search but can't find a decent answer. Taking
them to a service centre is out of the question, I don't live near
one. If it needs a software update I can do one myself, I think the
software versions are 5.56.
Anyone got any ideas, or are they just scrap?

Insider info: How to get Orange to match '3' tarrifs by
matt parsons
It's a pain orange will only offer this to existing customers and will not
offer it to tempt customers back to Orange who have previously left them.
The woman at Orange said they wouldn't be offering to match this tariff
until it had been constannt for three months and not a promotional tariff!

too long really.
Anyhow called them today (bloody 50p per min) and they told me they are

SonyEricsson T610 SIM free -v- Vodafone Live! by
Webmaster
Evening all,
I seem to remember somebody had uploaded pictures of a SIM-free T610 and a
Vodafone Live! T610. Can anyone point me to it?
Also, on Vodafone Live! branded handsets, what options are on the 'more'
menu (right softkey from standby screen)?
Cheers

Sony Ericsson T610 by
*** HAWK
Hi guys,
I am interested in buying this phone although I have a few questions.
1 - Does this have ability to create folders to store sms text messages in,
eg. folders for lets say "friends", "jokes".
2 - Does this phone have delivery reports for text messages, similar to what
Nokia use to. This shows once a message has been recieved or failed.
Any other useful features that anyone would care to...
