Using a 3 sim in orange spv anyone doing this? by
Kris
Hi, I keep hearing that it is possible to use a 3 sim in an orange spv
phone. Does anyone know which model of spv phone this will work in as there
are 2, the e100 and e200? will it work with the latest versions being
shipped by orange? Also, is the spv e200 a good phone?
Thanks
Kris

6230 - Changing SIM to PAYG by
Davey
My Orange contract is expiring tomorrow and I'm giving my girlfriend my
Nokia 6230 phone from the contract. She uses an O2 PAYG SIM card and when I
tried to put her SIM into my phone it said something like "Phone
restricted - Enter Security Code".
Unfortunately I have no idea what my security code is (I tried all my usual
four digit codes without success).
I have a few questions:

Secuity Code by
Oli
Hi,
I have a Nk6230 but have forgotten my security code. I know in the old
days,
LOGOMANAGER used to be able to read them. Is this still the case? I have a
data cable. If it can't - is there a program that can?
TIA

Sharp GX10i on Orange by
The CQMMAN
Hello,
I have a personal phone (vodafone) and a work phone (orange). I can
get a cheap upgrade to the GX10i from Voda and want to use it on
Orange. Apartently there is a £20 charge from Vodafone to unlock it.
Does anyone know if it will work OK on Orange and still(?) allow WAP
browsing, picture messaging etc on Orange?
I presume picture messages can now be sent between networks?

Unlocking Motorola mr30 (Flare) by
John Dawlish
I am trying to unlock some old Motorola mr30 & Flare handsets. I have
an EMMI box but no suitable interface cable that fits these old models
so I assembled my own using the following connections RJ45 to Motorola
10-pin plug (chopped from an old car charger).
RJ45 to Mot plug pin to pin:
3 True data (TD)
4 Downlink - Complementary data (CD)
5 Uplink - Return data (RD)

texting from the computer by
chartsoft
Hi
Does anyone know if any of the uk phone companies off the chance of sending texts from the computer? My organisation needs to send regular texts to existing clients from the computer with replies coming to our mobile phone so we need to buy a contract where our texting quota can be used from the computer, via the internet.
Thanking you in anticipation.

Phone unlocking in Central London by
Richard
I would like to find a reliable and cheap place in Central London (I am in
WC1) to have a pair of K750i's unlocked.
Best I have been quoted for on the spot is somewhere in Oxford St at £18
each, which I think is too much !
Any recommendations ?

E313 Unlock Problems by
SteveH
Managed to unlock my E313 so I can use it with my O2 online PAYG SIM.
Has anyone out there sucessfully swapped back to using the Three USIM
card?
I go through the unlock procedure with it, but when I try and do
_anything_ it just tells me that the 'application is unavailable' or
similar.
Argh! - been trying to sort this for an hour now.

Recommendations for phone unlocker / flasher by
AMO
I am looking for a cheap solution for casual phone unlocking and flashing.
Is there any particular recommendation?
Mainly I want to reflash a Nokia 7600. I assume that this will get around
the problem of too many attempts to enter the unlock code.
There appear to be a lot of products on the market, but I can't seem to find
a forum that has any threads regarding which unlocker(s)/flashers(s)...

Do Virgin PAYG SIMs ever expire? by
Graham.[_2_]
I recently found a Nokia 1100 down a crevice in the sofa that was last
seen (according to the call and text logs) in July 2006.
To my surprise the SIM is still active.

Bad move? by
Odie Ferrous
Yesterday I purchased a Sagem my-V65 mobile telephone for my daughter.
Unfortunately, I wasn't thinking to clearly and ended up purchasing it
with a Vodaphone pay as you go scheme.
I really want O2, since this is what all her friends and family use.
Apparently I can get the 'phone unlocked and I can also purchase a SIM
card for O2.

Unlock Nokia 3330 by
©®
Friend wants me to unlock his old 3330 Orange phone. I have the parallel
cable and dongle connectors. I tried Rolis 477 but when it says "Switch
on phone shortly" nothing happens. I am running it under 98
compatibility with XP.
Any other program I can use that works? Funnily enough, I have never
been able to unlock the 3330 or 3310s! But the other dongles seem to be
okay on others e.g....

Phone unlocking by
global_assassin@yahoo.co.uk
Are there any known problems that can occur after having a phone
unlocked? I recently purchased a new phone and was considering having
it unlocked by a guy who does this type of thing for a living. I
contacted O2 to make sure that if I did this my warranty would still
stand and I was told by customer service that if I got my phone
unlocked within the warranty period the warranty would be void. ...

James A G Marshall
my friend and I are getting one of these each on 3pay for a laugh when we go
