I did try two of the 6230 codes but they failed and I'm aware that I only have 5 chances.

Hi, I'm currently using a phone locked on O2 PAYG. Is it possible to use a Tesco Mobile sim in it without getting it unlocked? I have done a search but haven't found anything conclusive, has anyone actually tried this? Cheers, Jamie

I've just spent the entire afternoon pulling my hair out trying to factory reset a couple of 7600's using a cable I got from Phantom GSM and the Fbus program by Maestro. I have dug an old Nokia 5210 out of a draw and put a T-Mobile SIM in it. It works fine and I can access all functions. However I want to do a master reset to clear out all the old settings etc. However I reset the default security code and cant for the life of me remember it. What (free!) software is there that will link via Infra Red and let me know what the code is.

Hi I type in the wrong code into my ERICSSON R290 3 times now my phone is saying on the display "Phone Disabled" it is not the sim that has been Disabled its the phone. Hello group, Howlong should it take to obtain an unlock code from a network, in this case Virgin. They are quoting me 10-20 days. I think this is ridiculous. Unfortunately, my phone is an old Philips Savvy, so no free unlock code off the net. Thanks for your answers, John

This is a nice and easy one. I have an Ericsson T610, I live in the UK, and I go to Spain a lot. When I'm next in Spain, I want to buy a SIM card so that I can still use my phone, and simply carry around with me the two SIMs and the one phone. Rather than buying a brand-new pay-as-you-go phone in Spain, which means another piece of equipment to worry about.
