I have a sony ericsson f500i which i want to unlock. i got a data cable for my t68i which i used to use to up and download appointments and ring tones. will this cable be ok to use for remote unlocking? i don't fancy paying for remote unlocking only to find my cable is no good, is there a way of checking the cable?? Just bought one of these with a view to dropping my own sim in but having searched for some unlocking software I see that nowhere in any of the programmes is the M&S network an option (perhaps unsurprisingly). Not being knowledgable on the finer points of the process I'm wondering if entering an alternative network will get me some results. I'm guessing probably not. Any bright ideas?
