Is remote unlocking possible with these? Or am I stuck with buying a cable
and paying for an unlock code?

I don't think you have to buy a cable if you have a DSS-25 with your
P900 .. Some of the online loggers can use that. I used one with a
K700i anyway :-)

No remote unlock that I know about, but that doesn't mean they don't
exist.
